Printmaking (Ages 12 to 14)

June 25, 2018 - 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

In summer 2018, the Santa Paula Art Museum will launch a new Studio Art Program in its newly renovated Cole Creativity Center for children, teens, and adults!

The Summer Studio Art Program for children will introduce various materials, concepts, and techniques designed to challenge a child’s imagination and ability while providing opportunities for playful exploration. In our week-long “Printmaking” course, students will use basic printmaking techniques to design their own stencil and linoleum printing blocks. Students will learn design principals to create prints onto paper and fabric.

This course is for children aged 12 to 14. Children’s courses are organized by age group and limited to 15 students per class to allow for more individualized instruction. Each week-long course meets for 90 minutes on five consecutive days for a total cost of $85.00 per week. “Printmaking” is offered Monday, June 25, 2018, through Friday, June 29, 2018, from 12:30pm to 2pm each day.
